Mark Parry

Mark Parry is a console games designer, who for the last 12 years has specialized in developing experiences played in new and unique ways, from motion based camera gaming to interactive augmented reality.
Having graduated from Brunel University with a BSc in Industrial Design, Mark was invited to join Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s London Studio. During his time there, Mark has aided in the design of a range of successful and innovative titles for a variety of PlayStation platforms, including multimillion selling, BAFTA award winning SingStar, and the EyeToy: Kinetic series, some of the world’s first console fitness games.
Mark’s work on fitness continued with involvement in the choreography for social dance game, DanceStar Party, however, he has focused much of his time on helping to design experiences specifically for children and family. This has included sword swinging adventure EyeToy Play: Hero, dance game EyeToy Play: PomPom Party and Wonderbook: Book of Spells, an experience produced in conjunction with J.K.Rowling that uses an augmented reality book.
