Maryam Atakhorrami

Position: Industrial Partnerships Manager
Affiliation: School of Life and Medical Sciences

Maryam is Industrial Partnerships Manager in School of Life and Medical Sciences. Her role encompasses the development of strategic alliances with industries as part of translation of UCL’s biomedical research to patient’s health benefit. Prior to joining UCL, she worked in various functions in Philips Group Innovation ranging from early stage R&D to new business development and open innovation management. In particular she played a key role in pioneering the innovation strategy for chronic disease management enabled by telehealth technologies.
