Ralph Sullivan

Position: GP and Chair, Health Informatics Group
Affiliation: Royal College of General Practitioners

Ralph Sullivan is a GP and chair of the RCGP’s Health Informatics Group.  He was lead author of the college policy on information governance for the use of GP records for secondary purposes.  He is co-chair of the Joint RCGP/BMA GP IT Committee.  He is National Clinical Lead for Primary Care at the Health and Social Care Information Centre where he has worked on the GP Extraction Service, the QOF, care.data and data quality. He has been an EMIS user since 1989 and past chair of the EMIS National User Group.  He was a GP trainer for many years.
